Kyle and his father took these birds last week on a lease near Grand Valley North. Kyle’s bird was a great mature gobler with a double beard. One of the two beards had been cut off at some point. Congrats again, Kyle has been a turkey and deer killing machine over in Knox County.

Every tract of The John Buck Farm is now officially under contract. A 3006 acre farm all pending in less than 3 months!

This has resulted in a remaining North Grand Valley (about 210 acres). That new parcel can ber found here. Panoramic Homesite (35 acres) in Knox County is also pending. Lastly, to finish off last week, Illinois Land Company sold 190 acres of Peoria Pinnacle. This has resulted in a remaining 30 acre parcel with a super nice cabin and a 6 acre lake only minutes outside of peoria. I will get the details up on that new tract soon. It wont last long.

But it turns out that while I coulnt catch a big fish to save my life, there were plenty big fish to be had. My buddies Frank and Mark took the tournament with a 25lb bag. Pretty impressive. Four of the six boats had over 20 lbs. Sorry the pics are bad…the iphone doesnt do to good at night. You get the point though. These fish were litte footballs. This lake is going to be off the charts in three or four years. Also caught a few bonus smallies, crappie, stripers, and walleye.
