New LandCo Listing: 28 Acres in Peoria County … 90% Tillable

by John OReilly on October 8, 2013

Check out this new investment tract with a great future development opportunity.  These are the tracts that serious investors target.  Out of the 28 Acres, 25 are tillable.  It is listed at $9285/acre…which is in line with the farm land prices…not the development prices.  Great investment tract. It is only 20 minutes or so outside Peoria on the west side of Chillicothe.

It would also serve as an awesome residential homesite.  Great area.  Good views.  All buildable.  Power on east site. Etc…

Just a great overall farm at a good price.

Mink Pictures from Peoria County Farm for Sale!

Pretty sure this was a mink. I havent seen one in so long that I had to email it to the owner first. He informed me that they had accidentally trapped one nearby. This little guy was pretty entertaining…he ran in front of my truck on the gravel road for about 1/4 mile. He was then confronted by the neighbors dog, which turned out to be a bad decision by the dog. This particular mink happened to hold a platinum belt in kung fu. This farm has timber, water, and prairie grasses while being surrounded by row crops…so all sorts of animals call this home.
